SMS – active information channel

SMS is one of electronic communication channels offered to customer using Nordea''s Electronic Banking System.



The SMS service is free of charge.

Via SMS, you can receive information about the following operations on your account:

  • execution of transfers exceeding PLN 200, 500, 1000, 10000
    (notification sent on the transaction day)
  • payments into account exceeding PLN 200, 500, 1000, 10000
    (notification sent on the next day following the transaction day)
  • overdrawn balance in the account without authorised overdraft
  • overdrawing authorised overdraft limit
  • expiration of overdraft limit
  • number of passwords on the authentication card
  • information about term deposit maturities
  • notifications about loan instalment payments
  • notifications about standing orders

An SMS message may have no more than 150 characters.

How to activate SMS notifications

Information for current users of electronic banking

After logging into SOLO, click on Settings link located at the top of the screen, then under WWW & WAP channels click on Notifications. Then, check relevant SMS notification boxes.

Information for Nordea customers not using electronic banking

SMS notification facility may be used only by those customers who have enabled electronic access to their accounts. In order to enable electronic access channel, fill in an application for activating electronic access, available from traditional branches or at the Internet website, after log-in to Solo.

Information for persons who are not Nordea customers

Open a Nordea account with access via the Internet, phone, SMS and WAP and Bank''s traditional branch network. You can open an account by applying with Nordea traditional branches and at the Internet website, after log-in to Solo.
