Nordea is LOTOS Group’s Strategic Partner of the Year

Nordea Bank was awarded the Una Pro Posteritate statute and the title of the Strategic Partner of the Year of the LOTOS S.A. Group in regard to oil exploration and extraction.

The LOTOS S.A. Group completed a 10+ Programme, which enabled it to produce oil-derivative products and sell them on the domestic and foreign markets. Ninety companies were involved in the programme, including Nordea Bank, which was awarded the Una Pro Posteritate (Together for the Future) statuette and the Strategic Partner of the Year title by the Chapter of the Lotos Brand Award 2010, during the closing ceremony for the 10+ Programme in the Polish Baltic Philharmonic i Gdansk.

Nordea Bank has been cooperating with the LOTOS Group since 2004. In recent years, the cooperation focused mainly on the sector of exploration and extraction of oil fields. Nordea Bank Polska specialises in the funding the exploration of oil deposits in cooperation with LOTOS Petrobaltic in Poland, Lithuania and Norway.
