Gold Rock Award 2006 for Nordea Bank Polska

Nordea Bank Polska received a Gold Rock Award 2006 in the category of the greatest achievement in the development of the prestige card sector, given by MasterCard Europe in Poland.

MasterCard awarded Nordea Bank for the package of dedicated services going with the Nordea MasterCard Platinum card.

A Nordea MasterCard Platinum means first of all prestige and convenience for the holder. It offers not only a high, individually allocated credit limit, but also enables the holder to carry out all sorts of cash and non-cash transaction in a very wide network of merchants, with numerous cash machines and self-service devices bearing the MasterCard logo, both in Poland and abroad.

A Nordea MasterCard Platinum gives its holder a Priority Pass, which enables him/her access to the luxurious Executive Lounges in airports all over the world. Moreover, the attractive Concierge Platinum package ensures comfort in emergency situations thanks to the information and organization service.

The Nordea MasterCard Platinum card also means security. The added services package contains a rich package of travel accident insurance, including medical treatment abroad for the holder and a person accompanying him/her, without the requirement that the journey be paid with the card. Cover is also given for the loss of card.

To receive a Nordea MasterCard Platinum card, it is enough to earn a net income of PLN 15,000 net or have free funds which can serve as collateral for the allocated credit limit.

The prestigious Rock Awards for the greatest achievement in the development of the Polish payment card market were presented for the sixth time in Poland. This year, gold and silver Rock Award statuettes were handed out in six categories covering development in: new card products; credit cards; co-branded cards; prestigious cards; payment card acceptance network and the microchip technology compliant with the EMV standard.
