The good results of Nordea Bank in comparison to stock exchange listed banks

The 27 August editions of Parkiet and Rzeczpospolita published the partial financial performance figures of eleven listed banks, after the second quarter of 2010.

Nordea Bank was distinguished for its profit dynamics. In the second quarter of 2010, net profit was more than 34 % higher than in the first quarter of 2010. This profit growth is the best result among the eleven listed banks.

In addition, the Bank was praised for its asset growth. During one quarter, Nordea’s assets went up 13 percent. In consequence, Nordea Bank took the first place in terms of the growth in its balance sheet total in the second quarter.

What was emphasized was also the Bank’s continued development, the opening of new banking outlets and Nordea’s important position on the mortgage loans market.
